Question 1

How long does a number last?

Accepted Answer

A buy covers one verification. Unused numbers can be cancelled in about two minutes and the money returns to Balance. Need the same number to keep receiving SMS? That is Rent, for as long as the rental is listed.

Question 2

Can I get SMS codes?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that is the product. Codes show up on My numbers so you can copy them. Some banks, government, and KYC flows still reject virtual numbers; use your real phone for those.

Question 3

Do I need my own phone?

Accepted Answer

No. You need an account and Balance (card, crypto, or a coupon). First card or crypto top-up adds 10%. The SMS never hits a personal SIM.

Question 4

When should I use a virtual number?

Accepted Answer

One-time sign-ups, apps that should not have your real number, trials. Not for banking, government ID, or anything you must keep. After a code is used, that buy is done.

Question 5

Buy or rent?

Accepted Answer

Buy if you need one code. Rent if another SMS will come to the same number. Unused rental time is not refunded after the rental ends.

Question 6

What if the SMS never comes?

Accepted Answer

Wait about two minutes on My numbers. Still empty? Cancel, then try another country. We cannot send the SMS by hand.
