A virtual number is for SMS verification without handing out your own phone. Create an account, add Balance, pick the app and country on Buy, paste the number, then copy the code from My numbers. No SIM. The inbox is yours — not a public dump anyone can refresh.

A buy covers one verification. Unused numbers can be cancelled in about two minutes and the money returns to Balance. Need the same number to keep receiving SMS? That is Rent, for as long as the rental is listed.

No. You need an account and Balance (card, crypto, or a coupon). First card or crypto top-up adds 10%. The SMS never hits a personal SIM.

One-time sign-ups, apps that should not have your real number, trials. Not for banking, government ID, or anything you must keep. After a code is used, that buy is done.
